Junior League

Wednesday May 28th 2014 the Junior League of Hamilton-Burlington awarded Drummond House with $2,500.  We are so thankful.  With the funds we will be printing gift certificates $20 dollars in value (redeemable at Rescued and Restored) and distributing them to 5 local women's shelters in Hamilton and Burlington.  A representative from: Martha House, Inasmuch House, Native Women's Centre, Interval House and Halton Women's Place will be invited to a luncheon at Rescued and Restored where a member of the Junior League will give each shelter $500 in gift certificates to give out to women in need.  That's amazing - now women from our 5 local shelters will be able to receive start up furnishings compliments of the Junior League while helping to keep Rescued and Restored vibrant and strong.  Thank you Junior League of Hamilton-Burlington for this gift that will help so many!
